Regarding ending up with two threads when I was editing one, was it that because I changed the title then saved changes early, other than that I can only assume I clicked create thread twice . Because replies have been posted on two copes of the same thread , as confusing as it seems I will leave them both.
One other thing that's puzzled me all this time...how do you 'tag' I can't find a tag icon, or am I missing something obvious.
I don't know , I surprise even myself at muddles I create .

I'm not sure how you created 2 threads. I can merge them into one though. As for tagging richardj you type the person's username with an @ in front of it. It won't work for people whose visible username is different from their account creation user name, however. If someone has changed their name, they can't be tagged anymore, in my experience. The @ disappears and the tag appears when you submit the post. edit: threads are merged now

I think you can find that by checking their user profile.

Unfortunately, we have been the target of quite a bit of spam recently. We try to remove it as quickly as we can and are looking in to how we might catch it faster.
